- BIGFlix.com – Movie Rentals has acquired 80,000 registered members as its subscribers in a short span of 5 months since the media launch in May this year.
- The company currently has access to 20000 titles in 13 languages and targets to have 30,000 titles by March 09
- BIGFlix.com currently operates 115 stores and plans to have 200 stores in 10 cities by March 09
BIGFlix.com, a part of Reliance Big Entertainment, India’s largest online and offline movie rental service, announced, today the successful completion of one year of its Movie Rental business.
BIGFlix.com – Movie Rentals started operations with its first phase of launch of stores in Pune, Hyderabad and Chandigarh followed by other cities namely, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Indore. Currently, the company has 50 standalone stores and around 60 shop-in-shop format stores with Reliance Web World. BIGFlix.com is planning to announce its franchise plans soon to expand its presence across the country.
